By Road: Major road A303 to Ilminster, travel along the A358 to join the M5 at junction 25 (Taunton), and travel to Junction 27. Then take the A361 Barnstaple road, once in Barnstaple carry on along the A361 – now signposted Ilfracombe. At Mullacott Cross turn left on the A3343 sign posted Woolacombe and Mortehoe. After approximately two miles take the right hand turn on a left hand bend to Mortehoe. Approximately two miles along this road you will arrive in the outskirts of the village, take the first right; North Morte Road. The Grange is situated 300 yards along on the right. The drive up to The Grange is steep and winding – approach with care.
If arriving via the M5 travel to Junction 27 and follow the above instructions.
If you have sufficient time on your journey, the route from the M5 on to the A39 will take you along the North Exmoor route which has spectacular views of the rugged coastline.
